THE GREATEST PHOTOGRAPHS HAVE NOT ALL BEEN TAKEN YET

Bohemian Rhapsody had not been created until Freddie Mercury and Queen plucked it into being and now we all have it. Only some of the world’s greatest artworks exist right now. A few years ago I decided I would try to create some of it myself.
So, with the encouragement of my wife (and artist herself) Heather, we told ourselves we are and were going to be artists.
Creating a picture, the kind I want to share here, starts when I’m holding the camera. Just having my Nikon in hand helps me see more in the world around me, it helps me frame what I’m imaging or finding special in the moment. And the urge to make a memorable image strikes all over again when I begin molding it at home on Lightroom and Photoshop.
The first time I showed my work to the world, an 8 or 9 year old girl told me she saw a pregnant lady in a blue sail. Until then I hadn’t known that was part of the gift of sharing a piece I loved with others, but it’s integral. The journey continues when you watch it and share how you feel when you see my vision
Weird, innit? So please share those thoughts.
